Captain's Log

At the HELM Property Management started off as an extension to an on-site property management position with an infamous high-rise association in downtown Sarasota.  After working for a wonderful vacation rental business on Anna Maria Island for 12 years, Kelly Helm had the offer to "jump ship" and venture into another career path.  During the interview process for that position, Kelly was asked if she would be able to bring all facets of property management "in house" and save the association money and time from dealing with the "big" property management firms who start to consider their clients as "just a number".  Kelly knew exactly what it would take to tackle this task and started putting the wheels in motion, obtained her CAM Management firm license along with all the insurance requirements, opened an "off-site office, and put her staff in place.  It was an easy decision what to name her new company....as she feels any community association management is all about being in a position to control, to guide and direct your association on the right course, thus "At the HELM" Property Management speaks for itself and this rest is history.
